To Friends at Christmas, a Garland of Holiday Greetings, is a 164-page book documenting over eighty years of the William H. Blake, Elizabeth C. Stanton Blake, and Elizabeth S. Blake family's holiday cards.

Each card contains verse written by family members, often responding to events of the time. Based on the many lovely and typographically interesting cards, Hood Design chose to emphasize the use of typography and type ornament in the book's design.
